THE STORY AND THE PHILOSOPY
Atamai (adj):
Smart. Equipped with intelligent behaviour.
– Maori Language, New Zealand
It all started with the search for a low-maintenance, single-handed, stylish, powerful, and smart day boat—something that would make it effortless to enjoy the sea on a daily basis and explore nearby destinations without unnecessary complexity. The goal was simple: create a seamless experience that combines performance, comfort, and ease of use, allowing more time on the water and less time dealing with maintenance or operational challenges.
After years of searching for the perfect boat and finding that nothing fully met their expectations, partners Tanbay and Ganss decided to take matters into their own hands. By combining their expertise, vision, and passion for the sea, they set out to design and produce a vessel that truly reflects their ideal. This shared ambition ultimately led to the creation of their new project, the ATAMAI 33—a boat built to deliver both functionality and refined design for modern sea living.
